Nurture and Care Bears Take Kids on Magical New Digital Adventure While Building Life Skills
A New Partnership Dedicated to Building Kindness, Confidence, and Individuality, Spreading the Care Bears Mission
Los Angeles, CA — Nurture, Digital app developer Nurture is launching a new collaboration with tCloudCo Entertainment’s Care Bears brand.
The app was released Tuesday with the first adventure in the series, Badge Buddies. It follows Jojo the kangaroo into the Silver Lining. Kids ages 4–7 play along to help her restore beloved Care Bears belly badge powers while discovering what makes each Care Bear — and themselves — unique.
In this interactive story-driven adventure, kids work alongside Cheer Bear and other fan-favorite characters to explore Care-A-Lot, solve puzzles, and tap into core life skills like curiosity, kindness, creativity, and confidence. Designed to turn digital play into meaningful learning, Badge Buddies encourages young players to think critically, regulate their emotions, and practice empathy as they help Jojo and the Care Bears regain their strengths.
Focusing on the combined powers of individuality and teamwork, the adventure shows kids that everyone has something special to offer — and that challenges are easier when friends support one another. Kids actively participate in the journey by gathering tools, experimenting with solutions, and helping each Care Bear get their powers back. Along the way, Jojo, and the kids playing, discover the importance of curiosity, commitment, resilience, and courage.
“Nurture is the perfect partner to bring Care Bears to life with interactive digital experiences that help empower kids to build additional life skills for their future,” says Myles Hobbs, VP Global Distribution & Digital at Cloudco Entertainment. “Sparking social-emotional development through welcoming and inclusive entertainment is an innovative way of spreading has always been part of the Care Bears mission.
“Care Bears have spent nearly 45 years teaching kids that empathy and kindness are superpowers. That’s the Life Preparedness Gap we’re closing,” says Roger Egan, CEO and Co-Founder of Nurture. “There’s no better partner than a brand that’s been championing emotional intelligence since 1983. When kids practice social-emotional skills with characters they love, the learning becomes joyful, not forced.”
Badge Buddies builds on Nurture’s growing lineup of iconic brand-aligned adventures, following the success of its recent Crayola collaboration. By pairing iconic characters families already love with Nurture’s developmentally enriching gameplay, the app continues its mission to close the Life Preparedness Gap and give parents a trusted source of enriching digital experiences that build cognitive, social-emotional, and practical skills.
