This January, as Pokémon celebrates its 30th anniversary, the Natural History Museum, London brings an exclusive pop-up shop to fans.

The Cranbourne Boutique within the Museum will be transformed into a Pokémon pop-up shop experience with exclusive products designed especially for the collaboration. The pop-up will run from 26 January 2026 until 22 March 2026 at the Natural History Museum. It marks Pokémon’s first pop-up of its kind with a UK Museum.

A free ticket will be needed to visit the Pokémon x Natural History Museum pop-up store. Tickets will be available online from 1 October, sign up to be the first to hear when tickets are released.

The Natural History Museum and Pokémon share a fascination for and focus on the natural world and its creatures, from their evolution to their environment. In the Pokémon world, Pokémon can evolve into many forms which allow them to adapt smoothly and perfectly to any environment. Meanwhile, the Natural History Museum’s halls take you on a journey through the evolution and diversity of life on planet earth, from prehistoric dinosaurs to the species we live alongside today.

Adam Farrar, Director of Commercial and Visitor Experience for the Natural History Museum, said “There is such a wonderful alignment between Pokémon and the Natural History Museum – we’re obviously both big fans of the natural world and its evolution and diversity. We hope this collaboration will spark joy and curiosity in the creatures around us, both in the world of Pokémon and Earth”.

The Pokémon x Natural History Museum pop-up, stocked with new and exclusively designed product, will feature clothing, stationery, accessories, prints, and a brand-new exclusive plush, which are sure to delight fans of all ages.

Mathieu Galante, Senior Director of Licensing for Pokémon Europe added, “Design inspiration has been drawn directly from the Natural History Museum’s iconic building and architecture, as well as the beautiful naturalist sketches that fill the Museum’s archives. We are excited to be working with the Natural History Museum to create this fun pop-up store for fans of all ages.”

The Pokémon x Natural History Museum product range will also be available to buy from the online Natural History Museum shop, from January 2026. All profits from purchases made in the shop and online store, including Pokémon products, support the Museum’s charitable mission, including the work of 400 scientists conducting research and finding solutions to the planetary emergency.

A select range of products from the Pokémon x Natural History Museum pop-up shop will also be available to buy from the Pokémon Center UK Official Online Store.

The Natural History Museum is a world-leading scientific research centre and one of the world’s most visited museums. Our mission is to create advocates for the planet – people who act for nature.

Our 400 scientists are finding solutions to the planetary emergency – from reversing biodiversity loss to resourcing the green economy.

We are seeking an additional £150 million to transform our South Kensington building: placing our groundbreaking research at its heart, revitalising four existing galleries, opening two new magnificent galleries and delighting 1 million more visitors a year with the wonders of the natural world.
