2019 Kids Trendsetter Awards Honor Mr. Straffi’s Contribution to World Kids Entertainment

The Kids Trendsetter Awards held on October 12 in Cannes, France, honored the work of content group Rainbow’s founder and CEO Iginio Straffi, mastermind and creator of global blockbusters such as Winx Club and the praised latest hit 44 Cats. The award crowns an already legendary career of success for the Winx Club father, who brought Made in Italy on screens around the world.

Mr. Straffi has been awarded at the Creators’ Superpanel session held at MIPJunior, a conversation joined by award-winning film industry operators discussing creative and market issues.

The Awards, now at their fifth annual edition, are presented by World Screen and TV Kids in collaboration with Reed MIDEM, and recognize the most talented individuals driving modern excellence in kids entertainment and launching new global trends.

This important award follows 2018’s inclusion of Mr. Straffi in Variety’s 500 most influential business leaders in entertainment list, an annual ranking drawn up by the prestigious American weekly magazine leading this publishing sector.
