To create each pattern, Nikki used her experience visiting places like Africa, Bali, India, East Asia and the Caribbean to influence her designs. With names like “Ivory Coast Mural”, “Zulu”, and “Cape Town”, her collaboration with RoomMates draws the natural inspiration from these places and updates them to showcase Nikki’s modern look.

“My goal is to design livable collections that provide glamour within reach. I find inspiration in everyday life and love to work with neutral color palettes. This allows my products to work with any design style and, as a designer, I like to layer in texture and patterns into my work.” says Nikki, “In this way, a collaboration with RoomMates felt like a natural next step for me. The peel & stick model provides flexibility and a level of attainability that I strive for with all my collections. Nothing is permanent so if someone wants to change the pattern or play around with texture, this collection allows them to do so.”
