Sheila Clarke Passes Away at 64
Sheila Clarke passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026. She fought a valiant battle against squamous cell carcinoma over the last year of her life, living every moment to the fullest. She celebrated her 4th anniversary of a double lung transplant on 8/19/25.
She was an exceptional human being who accomplished a great deal in her short life. Born and raised in Chicago, a loyal Cub fan, she moved to LA to pursue her dream of working in the movie industry. She was a graduate of USC, School of Broadcast Journalism, Magna Cum Laude and a graduate of Loyola Law School, Dean’s list and Order of the Coif. During her professional life, she worked at Warner Brothers, starting in the mailroom, at Paramount as Director of Worldwide Licensing, being promoted to Senior Attorney to Head of Consumer Products Business Affairs, at DreamWorks as Senior VP of International Consumer Products, and then at Lionsgate as Senior VP, Franchise Management.
She was a devoted daughter, sister, cousin, friend, and truly an inspiration to those who met her. She loved sports, particularly the ND Fighting Irish and her beloved Trojans, who she truly believed were unfairly sanctioned by the NCAA. She loved the theater, dancing, apple pancakes, and was a chocolate chip cookie lover noted to know of the best bakeries whether in the US or the many places she traveled throughout her career.
She had a magnetic personality, was incredibility humble and generous and loved to learn. Her health challenges did not define her but rather challenged her faith and emboldened her resolve to live life in all its wonderment. She loved to learn and took up knitting after her employment ended, in addition to numerous classes at Saddleback and Santa Monica College Emeritus Programs.
She will be missed by her surviving siblings, Maureen and Kevin Clarke, her cousins, as well as a host of friends here and aboard. She was one special Irish Lass. May God hold her in the palm of his hand.
