Slayer Announce Reign in Blood 40th Anniversary Pop-Up Shop Ahead of Sold-Out Los Angeles Shows November 13–14 image

As Slayer prepare to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their landmark 1986 album Reign in Blood with back-to-back sold-out performances at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on November 13 and 14, the band have announced a dedicated anniversary pop-up shop running from November 12-14. Produced in partnership with Global Merchandising Services, the three-day experience will give fans an opportunity to celebrate one of the most influential albums in music history with an exclusive collection of anniversary merchandise and limited-edition collectibles and special offerings available only at the shop.

Located at 6250 Hollywood Boulevard, adjacent to the W Hotel and Amoeba Music, the pop-up will feature the official Reign in Blood 40th anniversary merchandise collection, alongside designs and items available exclusively at the shop. Among the highlights of the weekend overall, the band are releasing a portion of their personal stash of the Reign in Blood liquid zoetrope vinyl, bundled with a commemorative triptych and coin created to mark the milestone anniversary. Customers will also receive a QR code offering the chance to enter a giveaway for a signed Slayer setlist or merchandise pack.

Yesterday Slayer released a small number of production hold tickets for both Kia Forum shows. A limited number of general admission tickets will also be sold at the pop-up while supplies last.

Further details, including operating hours and the complete merchandise lineup, will be announced soon.

About Slayer
For more than four decades, Slayer’s onslaught has proved the band to be the supreme thrash-metal band on the planet, the band that other heavy acts are still measured against and aspire to. Their membership in “The Big Four” — Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax — the four bands that defined the thrash/metal genre — secures their place in music history. The five-time nominated, two-time Grammy winners have also accumulated an abundance of certified GoldAlbums along with “Best…” awards from media outlets all over the world, including Kerrang!, SPIN, Metal Hammer, Revolver, and Esquire. Throughout Slayer’s history, the band never faltered in unleashing its extreme and focused sonic assault, and, unlike many of its contemporaries who commercialized their sound, Slayer remained crushing and brutal, steadfastly refusing to cater to the mainstream. Slayer’s founding member, guitarist JeffHanneman passed in 2013, and Exodus guitarist Gary Holt has been filling that spot since. PaulBostaph, who was Slayer’s drummer from ’94-’01, has rejoined bassist/vocalist Tom Araya and guitarist Kerry King, and is back behind the kit. In January 2018, Slayer announced they were calling it a day and would be doing one final world tour to thank its fans for their support over the years. In 2024, Slayer surprised fans with the news that they would take the stage again for select shows. In 2026, a few headline dates celebrate the 40th anniversary of Reign in Blood, their most ferocious and era-defining record, with the album performed in full. All Hail Slayer.
