Snowtap Heads to Top Drawer
Art brand will be exhibiting on The Art File stand at the show from 20-22 February at Olympia London
Following a recent deal with The Art File, brokered by licensing agent Kirstie Guthrie at KJG Ltd, to offer a range of greetings cards based on graphic design and illustration property, Snowtap, the instantly recognisable artwork brand, will be present on The Art File’s stand (O48) at Top Drawer from 20-22 February, 2022 at Olympia London.
Since launch six months ago, independent publisher, The Art File, has reported very strong sales of the Snowtap range of greetings. As a result of the impressive sales, the publisher is now expanding its Snowtap offering. And to further extend the partnership, KJG Ltd, which manages the rights for the artwork property, has recently signed Tall Boy, part of the Art File, to create prints and wall décor based on the artwork.
Snowtap’s artwork is brought to life with witty puns, and features illustrations in watercolour, line drawing and hand-drawn typography. Designs in The Art File’s offering include the best-selling ‘Happy birthday you old grump’ design featuring a polar bear in glasses, as well as a simple ‘thank you’ message featuring an elephant holding a bunch of flowers in its trunk; a giraffe with the message ‘you’re head and shoulders above the rest’, along with many more.
Founded in 2016 by university friends Susy Snow and Gracie Tapner, Snowtap began life selling two greetings cards online and in its local gift shop in Newmarket, and now has over 60 designs in its portfolio and a growing licensing programme.
Gracie and Susy commented: “Our cards with The Art File have been incredibly well received and we are thrilled to be growing our partnership with them with new products in the range as well as the recent partnership with their sister company, Tall Boy. We’re really looking forward to exhibiting with them at Top Drawer and meeting new potential customers for the brand.”
Kirsty Guthrie, KJG Ltd, added: “The success of this partnership is testament to the strength of Snowtap’s designs and the expertise of The Art File – the perfect combination. I’m excited to watch this collaboration grow and to see the new stockists coming on board over the coming months.”
