Massive instant download figures indicate high prospects for the game’s license programme!
A sequel to the popular downloadable endless runner game, Temple Run, has been released on Apple’s App Store: Temple Run 2 was released for download globally on Thursday January 17th and reached the download #1 spot within eight hours!
The news of the immediate success of the launch of Temple Run 2 adds to last week’s announcement that a full licensing programme is to be launched in the UK and Eire by Lisle Licensing.
The truly addictive Temple Run game had achieved 170 million downloads even before this latest version but now with the new gameplay features introduced in Temple Run 2 that include the ability to use zip lines and ride mine carts will give players even more reason to enjoy the phenomenon that is Temple Run, plus four playable characters are now available, each with unique, upgradable skills.
