The Australian Toy, Hobby and Licensing Fair Digital held their yearly awards night on Monday via a Live Stream Event and to over 200 attendees.

Hosted by the Executive Manager of The Australian Toy Association Alice Sanderson, Awards for 24 Categories were announced.

At the awards event, while not the usual evening Gala that it has been in the past, the winners of each category were on hand to acknowledge their awards and there was much excitement during the announcements.

The Australian Toy Industry has grown steadfastly during the Covid‐19 lockdown, more so than any other country, with many many toys coming onto the market reflecting the change in preference of the type of toys kids have been enjoying.

While the majority of the awards are judged by retailers and industry professionals, the new Kids Choice Awards are judged by around 12 junior journalists from Victoria. This years’ winner for kids aged 7‐12 shows that children are still wanting toys with that value of play element.
