The Light Fund 5-3-1 Challenge Celebrates Amazing Backing from Sponsors – with Dozens of Big Names Already on Board
The next major challenge in aid of licensing industry charity The Light Fund has already attracted an astonishing number of participants.
Now, thanks to an amazing response from sponsors, it is also edging closer to its fundraising goal.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of the licensing industry, The Light Fund has already secured over £100,000 of sponsorship from companies and brands across the industry – and many categories are completely sold out.
But there are still a few remaining opportunities in the weeks leading up to this unique fundraiser – taking place between the 25th and 28th of September 2025 – challenging participants to scale some of the UK and Ireland’s most iconic peaks.
Joining Brand Licensing Europe, the headline sponsor across the overall challenge, are, to date, 36 companies supporting various different elements of the challenge through sponsorship that covers everything from waterproof jackets and head torches to first aid kits (and even shewees)!
They include: Licensing International, Rainbow Productions, Playmates Toys, Fabacus, Mercis, Libertas Brands, Difuzed, Wow Stuff!, PMI Toys, Pink Key Licensing, ToyTopic, Max Publishing, Aykroyds, Brand Alliance, TDP, Hasbro, Audit 360, Penguin Ventures, Van De Evre, Zuru Toys, WildBrain CPLG, Expression for Growth, Lowes, Hunter Price International, H&A, Rainbow Designs, KidsKnowBest, Character.com, Poetic Brands, Reemsborko, The Entertainer, Kilogrammedia, Danilo, Nowicki Productions, AllSortsMedia and Edward Kingston Ltd.
There are now only four weeks of training before the challenge commences on Thursday the 25th of September – but there is still time for companies and brands to add their names to this impressive list.
Mark Kingston, CEO of Libertas Brands and part of the organising committee for this epic challenge, said: “During these challenging times, sponsorship is more important than ever in helping The Light
Fund raise the essential funds needed to continue to support the invaluable work of the many charities and organisations it supports. Thanks to our invaluable sponsors and public pledges we’re getting closer to our target – but it would be an amazing achievement to smash through the 5-3-1 Peaks Challenge fundraising goal of £150,000.” Please contact Mark at mark@libertasbrands.com to secure one of the remaining sponsorship categories available.
The 5-3-1 Challenge is a unique journey that offers the choice of scaling the heights of the UK & Ireland 5 Peaks Challenge, or the UK 3 Peaks Challenge, or the singular glory of the Snowdon 1 Peak Challenge.
The challenge will be attempted with the support of the well-established and family-run adventure travel business, Adventurous Ewe.
Specialist industry PR agency, Kilogrammedia is on board as the official PR agency to help spread word of the challenge far and wide, while social media strategist, Nicola Webster will be bringing the fundraiser to life on platforms including Instagram and LinkedIn.
