Creative Licensing Corporation is pleased to announce its newest worldwide representation for merchandise licensing—Drive, the hit movie starring Ryan Gosling.
Released in 2011, Nicolas Winding Refn, the film’s director won the Best Director award for Drive at the Cannes Film Festival. The stylish Oscar- and Golden Globe-nominated movie won numerous awards in 2012 for best actor, best actress and best supporting actor.
Drive tells the story of a mysterious Hollywood stuntman who takes on a job as a getaway driver, landing himself in the middle of trouble when he helps out his neighbor and her son. The film and its lead star have developed a strong and loyal fan base who want to recreate the look of the “Driver.” The scorpion jacket and the gloves worn by the Driver (Ryan Gosling), the cars he drives and the clothes worn by Carey Mulligan’s character have become favorites with the movie’s fans.
Drive has international popularity and continues to draw fans to its midnight showings. The soundtrack for the film has developed a strong fan base, as well. Fans have created tribute movie poster artwork to the Drive websites.
