Second Volume Features Miley Cyrus Episode

Volume Two of the newly reimagined Sesame Street will be available starting March 9 on Netflix and PBS KIDS.

As with Volume One, episodes will invite children to play along in new ways brining viewers inside the world’s most famous brownstone for the first time, and feature celebrity guests, original music, engaging animation, and, as always, lots of laughter.

Episodes of the new season, which will be available on both Netflix and PBS KIDS on the same day, will drop in three volumes. Throughout the season, Sesame Street friends will explore compassion, kindness, and social problem-solving in ways little ones can relate to — whether it’s comforting friends with big feelings, making mistakes and learning from them, saying “sorry” and making things right, or checking in and asking if you are ok.

Episodes in Volume Two include:

Elmo’s Toy Swap: Elmo’s eager to swap with his friends. But when he sees his items being played with differently than how he used to play with them, he feels angry. Then he learns that there’s no wrong way to play. Meanwhile, Grover swaps for an airplane! Just imagine what can happen when special guest Miley Cyrus stops by the Sesame Street swap!

Abby’s Magical Dragons: Abby’s beastie-sitting three musical dragons by herself but she makes a bedtime routine mistake, and the dragons awaken. Abby feels overwhelmed and after a wand wiggle, she asks her friends to play a lullaby to help the dragons fall asleep.

Elmo’s Awesome Bike: Elmo got his first bike! He loves it so much until he sees Abby’s new bike that can fly! Elmo feels jealous and does a heart breath. He now realizes he loves his bike just the way it is. Meanwhile, Grover fixes Cookie Monster’s Cookie Cart.

Elmo and the Great Cookie Stack: Elmo and his friends try setting a cookie tower record, but Elmo feels discouraged when he keeps knocking it down. He does a wiggle break and then helps his team in another way. Meanwhile Grover tries taking a photo of Bert and Ernie.

With the launch of this season, Sesame Street will reach more children in more places than ever before in its 56-year history. New episodes will be available in 30+ languages globally on Netflix and released on the same day on PBS stations, the PBS KIDS Channel, and across PBS KIDS digital platforms in the U.S. This unique public-private partnership enables Sesame Workshop to bring its research-based curriculum to young children around the world with Netflix’s global reach, while ensuring children in communities across the U.S. continue to have free access on PBS KIDS to the Sesame Street they love, building on the 50+ year partnership with PBS.
