Yu-Gi-Oh Product Expansion Announced At Brand Licensing Europe ’23

Fashion UK, Kovert and Mister SFC will bring an array of exclusive designs and products including a line of sustainable clothing, Anime inspired gym outfits and jewelry offerings

London, UK — As the popularity of Anime continues to skyrocket, captivating its fandom around the globe, Konami Cross Media NY, Inc. has signed new licensees – including Fashion UK, Kovert and MISTER SFC – for the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise.

The announcement was made today by Jennifer Coleman, Vice President, Licensing and Marketing, Konami Cross Media NY, Inc.

Coleman noted that the new licensees will unveil an exciting array of apparel and accessories, with many focused on generating excitement with Yu-Gi-Oh!’s strong Gen Z fandom.  All of the merchandise will be available in time for the 2023 Holiday season.

“We are excited for the continuing growth into new categories,” said Coleman.  “From sustainable clothing, to gym workout wear, to jewelry, these new deals will bring a lot of buzz around Yu-Gi-Oh! products not previously available to its fans.”

Leading the way, Fashion UK is looking to grow its Anime offerings, with the company’s belief that Yu-Gi-Oh! will have strong appeal with their customers.  Fashion UK is committed to making the world a greener and cleaner place to live, using sustainable materials like organic cotton and recycled polyester in the development and manufacturing of its product lines.

In an effort to further expand the range and reach of products in the market, Kovert, the US based manufacturer of high-quality Anime gym apparel and accessories, will launch a line of Yu-Gi-Oh! merchandise that offers a deepening of the brand with Gen Z fans.  With an executive team that has a wealth of experience in the Anime landscape and having worked with leading rights holders in the genre, Kovert is one of the first Anime specific gym apparel manufacturers.

Accessories are also important, especially when marking a milestone anniversary. Thanks to a deal with Mister SFC, there will be a Yu-Gi-Oh! line of jewelry celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Trading Card Game.

At this year’s edition of Brand Licensing Europe, Konami Cross Media will be exhibiting at stand D110, continuing to hold discussions to further identify new merchandising offerings that will continue to energize the fan base.
