Japanese Licensing Professionals Grows With New 2015 Programs

Pre-Vegas Presentation Skills Workshop To Be Followed By Regular Licensing English Classes In The Summer

 Tokyo, Japan, 11th May 2015 – ZenWorks, the Tokyo-based licensing consultancy and lifestyle brand-licensing agency, has announced new English-language communication skill initiatives as part of its originally developed language program English for Global Licensing™ (EGL™). The program is aimed at developing English communication skills for Japanese licensing and creative content industry professionals.
First, a one-day workshop entitled “Introducing Your Company Effectively” will take place on Tuesday 26th May in central Tokyo.  This workshop has previously been conducted twice and has proven particularly useful for Japanese who need to pitch their company to potential overseas clients.  Timing wise, with Licensing Expo in Las Vegas next month, this EGL™ workshop is especially beneficial for Japanese attending the show.  Character Databank and LIMA Japan support the workshop and discounts are available to participants of both organizations’ membership schemes.
Second, further plans are afoot for regular EGL™ classes starting in the summer emphasizing practical tasks and realistic business scenarios supplemented with actual licensing industry materials. The regular class is aimed at intermediate-level English speakers and above.  If there enough demand, ZenWorks also plans to conduct classes for post-beginner to pre-intermediate level English learners.
