SeaWorld Launches New Nature-Themed Consumer Products Website

Product Sales Benefit Conservation
Orlando, Fla., May 11, 2012 — SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment has launched its first licensed-products Web site that connects consumers with nature-themed digital games, toys and apparel.
The new MySeaWorld.com features licensed merchandise with ocean, nature and animal themes from Mattel, Office Max, SkinIt, Ruckus Media Group, Palmer Cash and InMotion Entertainment.
Reflecting a shared commitment to conservation of SeaWorld and its licensees, a portion of all net proceeds from SeaWorld’s licensed consumer product sales on the site will benefit conservation. The SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund, which supports wildlife research, habitat protection, animal rescue, conservation and education programs around the world will benefit.
“This new platform allows us to connect with and inspire fans in a new way, through engaging lifestyle products,” said Jim Atchison, Chief Executive Officer and President of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. “And, because proceeds from the sale of these products will help save wildlife all over the world, we also are helping to make a difference.”
New products on the site include three interactive digital storybooks based upon SeaWorld’s animals, education and conservation efforts. Created in partnership with Ruckus Media Group, these stories will inspire children to excel in reading and ignite a passion for animals, life and science. The storybooks include fun, facts and fiction, and are available on a variety of digital and mobile platforms and devices.
Also new are 19 “Skin It – SeaWorld” marine-mammal themed decorative skins for electronic devices including cell phones, laptops, iPads, Kindles, Nintendo DS and more.
Consumers have the opportunity to sign up for email alerts to be notified when new products become available.
