BBC Studios Takes Global Family Brand Bluey to New Digital Heights With Celebrity YouTube Series Bluey Book Reads
Stars including Kylie and Dannii Minogue, Eva Mendes and Rob Delaney will bring Bluey storybooks to life like never before.
London, UK — BBC Studios Social and BBC Studios Kids & Family and Ludo Studio launched Bluey Book Reads on Wednesday on the Bluey YouTube channel. The series brings with celebrity readings.
Bluey Book Reads is commissioned by BBC Studios Social, the team tasked with creating, curating and commissioning relevant content for BBC Studios’ digital portfolio which includes Bluey, BBC Earth, Doctor Who and Top Gear. The team, who are part of BBC Studios’ Brands and Licensing division, were awarded the Lovie’s inaugural European Publisher of theThe Year Award in 2023 and run Bluey’s spectacular social channels, including the official Bluey YouTube channel portfolio which has an incredible 5.7 billion lifetime views.
Bluey Book Reads is BBC Studios Social’s first piece of standalone content for Bluey. The brand-new digital original 10 x 5 series launches with ‘Mini Bluey‘ read by famous sisters and Australian pop royalty Kylie and Dannii Minogue.

Bluey Book Reads combines off-screen narration from global talent with visuals from Bluey storybooks and live action shots. In addition to Kylie and Dannii Minogue, the following luminaries lending their unique charm to Bluey‘s much-loved stories are: Australian TV personality and conservationist Bindi Irwin; Olympic gold medal diver Tom Daley; stand-up comedian, actor and BBC Radio 2 host Romesh Ranganathan (Ranganation); BAFTA award-winning English actress and producer Suranne Jones (Vigil, Doctor Foster); American actress Jenna Fischer (The Office US, Office Ladies Podcast); Hollywood star Eva Mendes (Training Day, Hitch); American actor, singer and dancer Jordan Fisher (Hamilton); French actress and comedian Camille Cottin (Call My Agent, House of Gucci); and American actor, comedian and writer Rob Delaney (Catastrophe, Deadpool 2 & 3).
Bluey Book Reads offers fans a new way to experience their favourite Bluey storybooks, which are based on episodes as-seen on the global hit TV sensation, Bluey, produced by Ludo Studio.
All the Bluey stories featured in the Bluey Book Reads series are published by BBC Studios’ licensee Penguin Random House. Bluey books are published by Ladybird in the UK, Penguin Young Readers in the U.S. and Puffin Books in Australia, all of which are imprints of Penguin Random House.
