New York, NY – Surge Brands has been appointed the exclusive worldwide licensing agent for Romano’s Macaroni Grill. Through this strategic partnership, Surge Brands will launch a comprehensive global licensing program designed to bring the restaurant’s beloved Italian heritage and signature hospitality into new product categories and markets.
Romano’s Macaroni Grill, known for its scratch-made Italian cuisine, warm hospitality, and rich cultural traditions, has captivated guests for over 35 years with its signature blend of authenticity, generosity, and celebration. Inspired by founder Phil Romano’s vision of recreating the comforting experience of an Italian family meal, the brand continues to set itself apart with experiences that are both engaging and delicious—from open kitchens and honor system wine to lively opera-singing servers.

Surge Brands will leverage the restaurant’s distinctive brand assets—from its celebrated honor wine system and rosemary bread served with imported olive oil, to its inviting ambiance modeled after classic Italian gatherings—to inspire product innovation that resonates with loyal fans and new audiences alike.
