Volt Factor Launches Platform Built to Scale Creator IP Into Global Brands
Mountain View, CA + Palm Beach, FL — Volt Factor, a platform built to scale creator IP into global brands, today announced its official launch. The company debuts with a slate of creator partners, including TheBurntPeanut, Alan Chikin Chow, and That’s Amazing, amongst others; collectively reaching hundreds of millions of followers and generating billions of monthly views across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitch. The company is supported by a strategic advisory board drawn from sports, toys, entertainment, and capital industries.
Volt Factor is co-founded by entrepreneur and licensing executive Elan Freedman, who serves as CEO, and former YouTube executive Lindsay Hampton, serving as President–two operators bringing unique expertise to the creator-to-brand equation. The company is built on the belief that the creator economy is producing some of the most valuable intellectual property outside the legacy studio system, yet much of it remains commercially underdeveloped. Volt Factor provides the operational infrastructure required to turn creator-led ideas into global consumer brands.
“Enduring franchises don’t happen by accident—they are built with intention. The top creators are building IP with unrivaled audience development capabilities and Volt Factor exists to bring this community into the franchise world,” said Freedman. “I’m thrilled to partner with Lindsay, who is widely recognized for her long-standing relationships with talent, and is regarded by many of YouTube’s most influential creators as one of the platform’s most trusted voices.”
“Creators have built highly engaged global audiences and widely recognized IP, yet most lack the resources to fully capture the long-term value of what they’ve created,” said Hampton. “We started Volt Factor to change that. We work alongside creators and their teams, leading product strategy and execution, and managing the business backend so the brand can scale while creators focus on what they do best.”
At launch, Volt Factor represents global licensing rights for a select group of creators with strong identity, repeatable formats, and cross-category brand potential:
- TheBurntPeanut is the #1 Twitch streamer and gaming personality, with more than 3 million followers, 300 million views and over 150,000 peak concurrent viewers across platforms including YouTube and Twitch. Built around a fully custom 3D avatar and an expanding modular digital universe, TheBurntPeanut’s designed for flexibility across formats and categories. With a chaos-driven personality and a highly engaged fanbase, TheBurntPeanut is well-positioned for expansion across gaming, publishing, and consumer products.
- Alan Chikin Chow is the #1 YouTube Shorts creator globally and the force behind Alan’s Universe, the most-watched narrative-driven series on YouTube. With more than 125 million subscribers and over 2 billion monthly views, Alan creates family-friendly content with global appeal. With a Netflix series in development, a K-pop group soon to launch with HYBE America, and content distributed across Roku, Amazon, Tubi, Pluto, and other major OTT platforms, Alan’s Universe offers significant licensing potential across apparel, publishing, back-to-school, toys, and food and beverage.
- That’s Amazing is the global leader in backyard trick shots and high-stakes challenges that inspire kids to keep trying. Founded by Wisconsin brothers Tommy and Matthew End, the brand spans a multi-channel ecosystem anchored by That’s Amazing and Colin & Owen Amazing, with 40+ million followers, 22 billion lifetime views, and up to 1.5 billion monthly views across five channels. They hold the Guinness World Record for the most-viewed YouTube Short (4.6 billion views) and bring a proven track record of major global brand partnerships.
Volt Factor is supported by a distinguished group of founding advisers, including Stephen Davis, former Chief Content Officer of Hasbro and President of Hasbro Studios & Consumer Products; Ken Black, former VP and Global Creative Director at Nike and co-founder of Nike SPARQ; Jim Lee, President and COO of Crunch Labs with prior leadership roles at Google and Cisco; and Ed Latessa, a seasoned operator and investor affiliated with Raptor Group and owner of The Latessa Corp., with advisory roles including Gap and AS Roma.
About the Co-Founders
Freedman is a pioneer in creator-economy licensing, having built some of the first major licensing programs for digital-native IP, including Dick Figures, Little Baby Bum, and Spy Ninjas, alongside franchise programs for WEBTOON, Feisty Pets, and Axe Cop. His expertise is rooted in a broader legacy—his family founded Surge Licensing, the master toy licensor behind the multi-billion-dollar franchise, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Additionally, Freedman co-founded Electric Monster Media, a YouTube channel roll-up, and Capacitor Media, an IP-focused finance company. With nearly two decades of experience, he has built a track record of commercializing both creator-led and legacy IP across retail, media, and venture ecosystems, consistently transforming culturally resonant properties into multi-platform consumer franchises. Hampton brings 14 years of experience at YouTube, where she served as Global Head of Creator Engagement. In that role, she managed some of the platform’s most important creators across fitness, entertainment, and lifestyle verticals and led platform-wide initiatives around creator retention and monetization. She built YouTube’s creator fitness vertical and was positioned at the center of the platform’s shift toward creator-led commercial businesses. Hampton brings an insider’s understanding of how creator audiences are built, what drives loyalty, and how to translate cultural momentum into commercial opportunity.
