Minneapolis, MN — Target Corporation has launched an update of its private label Threshold home goods brand, providing consumers with 800 items, many at lower prices.
The reinvention of Threshold, a nearly $3 billion owned brand, is part of Target’s multi-year strategy to reinforce its style authority in Home with more distinctive products and shopping experiences that reflect how guests live and decorate today.
“Homes are an extension of our guests’ personalities and sense of style, and Target’s Threshold reinvention makes it easier for everyone to create spaces they’ll love,” said Mara Sirhal, senior vice president, merchandising, home, Target. “As we’ve refreshed Threshold throughout the year and continue to rebuild our Home business, it’s exciting to see how guests are already responding to the merchandising authority we bring with a range of styles, elevated design, and incredible value.”
Threshold’s reinvention brings together improvements across products and the shopping experience, with thoughtful updates that make it easier for guests to create spaces that feel like their own.
Key updates include:
- A fresh take on essentials: Design-forward essentials feature improved quality, materials and thoughtful details, including refreshed barware and serveware, bedding in fabrics like gauze and textured cotton, and decorative accessories with elevated finishes.
- More ways to express personal style: Target’s research shows guests mix three or more design aesthetics in their homes. Threshold’s expanded range, from traditional to contemporary, offers more choices across decorative accessories, bedding, tabletop and other Home essentials.
- Everyday value on essentials: Style, design and value are at the center of this brand refresh and reflect Target’s recently lowered prices on guest-favorite Threshold bedding items, including Performance Sheets, now $50 for queen and $60 for king, while introducing refreshed colors and prints. Select Threshold queen comforters are also now $69, down from $89.
- An inspiring, easy-to-shop experience: Key Home categories, like decorative pillows, throws and tabletop decor, are now merchandised together, making it easier for guests to discover complementary colors, patterns and textures for every room. Select stores also feature elevated wood fixtures to enhance the experience.
