Diamond Select Toys has purchased the assets of bust and statue manufacturer Gentle Giant Ltd., potentially gaining access to a range of licenses including Star Wars, Sony, CBS, Legendary, Electronic Arts and PopCap.

The sale, finalized last month, returns a Star Wars license to Diamond, which has had it for mini-figures in the past, says Diamond Select Marketing Dir. Zach Oak. In addition to busts and statues, Gentle Giant also has produced PVC dioramas, action figures, prop replicas and D-Formz PVC Figures.
