FremantleMedia North America Heads to Toy Fair with a Family of Products Related to One of Television's Most Popular and Enduring Game Shows, Family Feud

Burbank, CA, Feb. 15, 2016 – FremantleMedia North America (FMNA) is at Toy Fair with a collection of products surrounding the iconic Family Feud brand. Airing since 1976, the epic style of game play featuring two families competing for cash and prizes as they try to guess the most popular answers to questions posed to 100 people surveyed, perfectly translates to a host of at-home interactive experiences.
“Family Feud’s style of game play resonates with players of all ages and has been entertaining fans for decades,” said Andrea Brent, vice president of consumer products, FremantleMedia North America. “We can’t wait to offer these new options for families around the country to enjoy classic Feud style play.”
This year Calendar Holdings launched a Family Feud inspired boxed calendar, which poses a new question and survey answer each day.  If this daily query isn’t enough for fans of the TV show to get their Feud fix, Cardinal Games has created a trivia box card game, allowing them to play Family Feud right in their home.  Players will designate a host, while the others compete in this survey showdown.
Heading into summer, The Bridge Direct will launch their Family Feud electronic handheld game.  This single-player experience features multiple rounds of play.  In addition, FMNA has renewed their partnership with Endless Games to create Family Feud board games.  This summer will see the launch of the 6th Edition of the company’s extremely popular home version of the TV show.  Chock full of new survey questions and answers from the game show, players will be able to challenge their family and friends with this classic board game.  Allowing for up to 12 family members, the game is the perfect addition to any social gathering.
Family Feud is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year with an audience that continues to grow, posting series best ratings numbers at the beginning of 2016.   Taped in front of a live audience from its home in Atlanta, Georgia, Family Feud is produced by FremantleMedia North America, and is distributed by Debmar-Mercury.
