Topps is delighted to announce that it has won the 2010 Association of Circulation Executives (ACE) ‘Launch of the Year’ award, for the launch of its Match Attax trading card game collection.
The International Circulation and Distributor awards relate to activity and achievement outside the entrant’s country. While other awards ceremonies recognise success in editorial and publishing endeavour, this event is specially staged to celebrate excellence and achievements in the circulation arena. A number of factors are taken into consideration when judging this award including: circulation sales achievements, advertising sales achievements, sales promotions, publicity and PR within the market place and sector to name a few.
Explaining their decision for awarding Match Attax, ACE released the following statement “The launch was well executed with well-coordinated regional and national activities that helped drive sales and build in buyer loyalty resulting in Match Attax becoming an international brand.”
