Ruggable has launched a new rug collection with actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop brand.

The washable rug collaboration mixes patterns and textures in a way that naturally blends with just about any style or mood.

“A well-loved home is a backdrop for our most special memories: playing with our children on the floor, a boisterous dinner party with old friends, a rare quiet moment curled up with a book,” says Goop Founder Gwyneth Paltrow. “For this project, we leaned into those precious moments, blurring form and function to create an elevated collection of organic neutrals with motifs and textures inspired by our travels.”

The Elin Stripe, Shaila Stone, and Luna Soft Teal rugs all reference traditional Indian dhurrie designs. The blue-and-cream Elin Stripe, with its imperfect lines and stair-step edges, leans toward the classic. The muted-grey Shaila Stone is a more modern interpretation, with bold lines, geometric motifs, and a tranquil color palette. And with its traditional micro-diamond pattern, the clean-bordered Luna comes in a contemporary, cool turquoise.

The cream-and-clay Lucia Rug, in contrast, is based on Spanish revival designs—it’s classically symmetrical with simple, textural borders. Both the Remi Camel Brown and Dilara Sage Green rugs are inspired by Tuareg rugs (the Tuareg are a Berber people from North Africa). The minimalist striped Remi is earthy and geometric. The Dilara’s modern take on Tuareg patterns—there’s intricate concentric banding in a delicate hand-done texture—is a gorgeous mix of warm neutrals.

All the rugs in the collection are a beautiful flat-woven chenille, except for the Salerno Soft Black rug, whose woven jutelike material is made from a blend of polyurethane and recycled and virgin polyester that doesn’t shed or fray. And the rugs range in size from small (2’ x 3’) to large (10’ x 14’). Several have a round option, as well.

With a bold oversize-diamond design, the Salerno updates the traditional harlequin look with a unique border and natural earth tones. The charcoal contrasts with a warm brown in a way that’s quietly dramatic.

Like everything Ruggable makes, the rugs are water-resistant, stain-resistant, and easy to wash, making them ideal for the sometimes-messy realities of life (which are often the stuff of our favorite memories). The rugs are priced starting at $159.
