Tokyo, Japan, 21st July 2015 – ZenWorks Co., Ltd., the Japan and international licensing business consultancy, and developer of the English for Global Licensing™ (EGL™)English communications skills learning project, announces Japan’s first ever-regular business English skills course for the Japanese licensing and creative contents industry. The kick-off semester for the English for Global Licensing™ (EGL™) regular course will begin on Wednesday 9th September and run for 12 sessions through to March 2016.
Two programs will be offered for beginner and intermediate level learners. The one for beginners will teach basic business English communication skills emphasizing a licensing environment. The intermediate level program will teach higher-level skills needed to communicate effectively in licensing globally. Both programs will be held at a convenient venue near the Apple Store in Shibuya, Tokyo. Tuition fees are set at a reasonable 38,000 yen (beginner) and 50,000 yen (intermediate) (excluding tax) and represent excellent value-for-money for programs of this specialist vocational nature.
Roger Berman, president of ZenWorks and originator of the EGL™ program comments, “Japan’s globalization and the increasingly borderless nature of the licensing industry has created a need for specialist English communication skills. Our EGL™ program was specifically created to meet various needs within the Japanese licensing community.”
EGL™ was first launched in 2013 with a series of workshops focusing on teaching corporate presentation and pitching skills in English. Staff from various companies such as d-rights (animation production), Benelic (retail), Green Camel (licensing agent), Crown Creative (licensing agent), Bandai Namco Entertainment (game developer), Benesse Corporation (education) and Furyu (game prize manufacturer) successfully completed these workshops.
